In collaboration with the production and engineering teams, the Maintenance Assistant will support the implementation and structuring of the preventive and corrective maintenance program through our maintenance management system. This position is open to a student seeking part-time employment.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in configuring the maintenance module within the management system
- Collect, organize, and enter data related to equipment, spare parts, and maintenance history
- Create work orders, maintenance routines, and preventive schedules
- Keep technical information and documentation up to date
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to define service frequencies and priorities
- Support maintenance tracking and generate performance reports
Your skills and qualifications:
- College diploma (DEC) in progress or completed in administration, industrial management, industrial maintenance, or another relevant field
- Good understanding of maintenance processes (preventive, corrective, parts inventory)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (an asset)
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and thoroughness
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems
