Continuous Improvement and Process Analyst

Reporting to the Vice President – Production and Operational Excellence, the Continuous Improvement and Process Analyst plays a key role in identifying optimization opportunities with the goal of creating more efficient and agile production and packaging activities at the plant. A significant portion of the role involves collecting data, analyzing it, and proposing actionable recommendations to improve operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of processes, key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities across the carrot and onion packaging plant operations (handling, storage, packaging, etc.).
  • Develop a deep understanding of operational processes and become a reference point for the team.
  • Map current processes by observing, analyzing, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Present improved processes and maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures associated with each stage of the operational processes.
  • Draft and update required plant documentation.
  • Actively participate in the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of new operational processes and technological solutions affecting plant operations.
  • Apply continuous improvement knowledge and best practices to execute, measure, and control continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and monitor multiple operational projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to deliver solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by acting as an enthusiastic and dynamic change agent.
  • Support teams in change management by fostering collaboration and encouraging buy-in for initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP operational systems.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
