Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant ensures accurate and rigorous accounting operations and contributes to the production of reliable financial statements. This role is key to maintaining compliance with accounting standards and deadlines while actively participating in the continuous improvement of processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Enter and verify accounting transactions (invoices, payments, journal entries)
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracy
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations (GST/QST, etc.)
• Contribute to optimizing accounting processes and implementing internal controls

Your skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting
• Diploma in accounting or a related field
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Discretion and professional ethics
