We are currently seeking an Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with our clients, including retailers, distributors, and other business partners. You will play a key role in driving sales by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet the demands of the vegetable production and distribution market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily sales activities for assigned accounts
- Ensuring smooth operations for each account (sales, deliveries, payments)
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Monitoring account performance and generating reports
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and sales terms
- Handling customer complaints and offering sustainable solutions
- Keeping an eye on market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Performing other related duties as needed
Your skills and qualifications:
- Education in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field
- Relevant experience in account management, ideally in the produce industry or with grocery chains
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
- Strong analytical skills and market understanding
- Ability to stay organized and manage priorities effectively
- Team spirit, autonomy, and proactivity
- Knowledge of agriculture or supply chain (an asset)
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
